our mission statement

Since our inception in 1975, The Heritage Players, Inc. has offered a wealth of entertainment for the community at affordable prices.

Our productions include dramas, mysteries, comedies and musicals, some well-known and some original scripts by talented local writers, and even variety shows and cabaret nights.

We have always aimed for excellence in performance while providing a climate for growth in the theatrical experience of our members, and we have always believed in philanthropy for the benefit of our community. We have been able to produce a wide variety of shows, from hit musicals like Oklahoma and Into the Woods, to smash Broadway plays like Noises Off! to wonderful Children's plays like Snow White.

We have donated over $50,000 to charitable organizations in the Baltimore metropolitan area since 1975. What makes these donations even more special is that the cast and crew for each main stage show chooses the charity that will receive the benefit from their dedicated hard work.

In residence at the Thomas Rice Auditorium on the campus of Spring Grove Hospital since 2009. The Heritage Players is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
